Awning Graphics
How do they do that?!?
Over 90% of the commercial awnings that we create feature some sort of graphic or signage. We specialize in several methods of adding graphics to your awning:
- The Sunbrella® Graphics System easily applies graphics to fabrics by using a vacuum system that pulls fabric and film tightly together, and bonding them with heat.
- We cut pressure-sensitive vinyl with our computerized plotter and register it on the base fabric.
- By using the eradicating technology, we apply special chemicals to eliminate the colored areas on precoated fabric. This leaves a white background that we further customize by using hand painting or pressure-sensitive vinyl.
- The screen printing process forces ink through the design on a screen and prints onto the face of the fabric. This allows for consistency in multiple applications of the same image.
- We also hand paint, using special paints to apply custom designs or lettering to your awning.
- Cut-outs are letter or graphics that are cut out of the base fabric and replaced from behind with fabric of another color.
- Our large-format digital printer enables us to apply our client's detailed graphics onto the awning providing brand identity.
